Was originally set up as the changing area systems, in 2008 we combined these products together our Maxiflow Pool Area, Minimus play Area and Ringo outdoor ranges under the one umbrella all as Genus. We still offer the same extensive range finished to high quality.
N-Ice
As specialists in the manufacture of synthetic materials since 1978, we are market leaders from our factory in England, we are proud to offer the best alternative to ice skating rinks: our N-ICE rinks.
We combine specially selected raw materials, while maintaining precision and control throughout the pressing process, resulting in the best "ice" skating surface available today.
We design, manufacture, assemble, and install, whilst ensuring quality from start to finish. N-ICE rinks are recommended by the National Ice Skating Association of the United Kingdom.
Hi-Tech
Vitrathene has manufactured specialist Sheets, blocks and tubes for the technological industries some of which are bespoke to the client. We are now researching ways in which we can expand our expertise in this field to the waste or environmental industries.
Recycled
In 2009 we added a range of sheets made from old plastics bottles originally containing shampoo, detergent or milk, the bottles have been collected, sorted, flaked and thoroughly washed to remove any remaining contaminants. Looking like multi-coloured corn-flakes the pieces are then compressed into sheets by a process of heat and pressure, which retains the original colours of the original bottles.
Other products range are made from high impact polystyrene (HIPS) and are harder and more rigid than the sheets from bottles please see the full Smile Plastics range.
We also recycle around 80% of our own waste material and remanufacture into sheets for this and our other range of goods.
