Vitrathene Ltd is the only multi-press producer of VITRATHENE High and Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene in the United Kingdom. We provide all products and services related to Changing & Swimming pool areas, synthetic ice rinks, temporary ice rinks, ice rink hire. Vitrathene also has two specialist areas in Hi Tech and Recycled sheet materials.
Since the early days the company has supplied specialist materials to the Naval & Health industries and has been highly active in reducing waste. In fact Vitrathene recycles nearly 80% of itas own waste in house. In 2009 we acquired an additional arm to our business with Smile Plastics a highly regarded business in the supply of recycled polyethylene sheets, this was a natural progress for Vitrathene as it had been pressing materials for Smile Plastics ltd for some 5 years or more.
